Tiger in the Wild
In this undated photo released by the World Wildlife Fund, a Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) is captured by a trap camera in Riau, Indonesia. Tiger habitats have shrunk by 40 percent in the past decade and their survival depends on boosting protection of key ranges, cracking down on poaching and working to reduce conflicts with humans, according to a study released Thursday, July 20, 2006.
